I'm trying to locate information on the 131st Engineer Battalion from WWII. My unit 107th Engineers was reorganized as the 254th During WWII. They also ran into Pieper. Or Should I say Pieper ran into us. However, we showed them what engineers can do. I'm trying to track down the 131st because one of our companies from our Battalion was put in the 131st instead of the 254th. I'm wondering if the 131st had any particpation in the Battle of the Bulge. They were later redeployed, after Germanany surrendered, to the Luzon and Solomon Islands as well as the Philippines. That is all we know of them.
